Meguiars to the Rescue

April 2005

Special thanks to the crew at the Meguiars booth at the 2005 NSRA meet in Oklahoma City.  They are truly the epitome of people who understand car enthusiasts.  This street rodder appreciates their products and the knowledge and skill they used to get him out of a bad situation.

Ode to a Bird

The bird was soaring so wild and free
He did not know whether to poop or to pee
My little red '33 sat right below
Lookin' fine with its paint all a-glow
The car looked so good and I was feeling great
But then that big ol' bird had to defecate
A big ugly blob appeared on the paint
I knew in a moment I was going to faint
It burrowed into fresh clear coat almost at once
I couldn't get the stain off; I felt like a dunce
Quickly I ran to the Meguiars display
I rapidly told them of my dismay
They said bring us the car and we'll will get right on it
They worked their magic with a polishing bonnet
Almost at once the stain went away
And I happily went back to my spot at NSRA
The Meguiars folks got me out of a crack
And I'll be at peace unless that bird comes back!
